Job Description
We are recruiting a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative machinery solutions across a variety of industry sectors. You will be responsible for the electrical design of control systems for automated packing machinery, ensuring high quality and reliability in our products.
You will experience working within supportive teams in a dynamic environment, working on cutting-edge projects with short timescales. With huge variety in your role, you will see your designs through from concept to 1st off prototype to series production.

Responsibilities
Within our Electrical Design team, we focus on providing high quality Designs of Electrical systems ensuring that they are safe, accurate, innovative, cost effective and produced on time to support project delivery. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will:
Design and Development:
Design electrical control systems and components in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulations.
Create detailed electrical system schematics, panel layout drawings and diagrams using CAD software.
Attend design reviews and DFMEA meetings to ensure design integrity and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, project managers, programmers and electrical engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into overall project designs.
Feasibility Studies and Analysis:
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analyses to support design decisions.
Perform simulations and testing to validate designs and troubleshoot any issues.
Documentation and Reporting:
Generate technical documentation, reports, and specifications for internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare technical files and SISTEMA reports for compliance and documentation.
